Travelling alone, I felt really safe staying here. Even when I returned to the room after 10pm. The room was really clean and spacious and the bed was nice and comfy. I don't think I moved once during the night. It was really central and had plenty of parking on street and close by. Lots of lovely little shops close by too. I loved the breakfast in the room with the mini fridge. A great selection from cereal to cheese and pastries. Oh and the shower had great water pressure too.

The setting of the property is wonderful and the views are lovely. Our room was comfortable and had everything we needed. The room was very large and had everything needed, even biscuits and water jug. The location is perfect. so close to the heart of Kelso. Parking at the nearby Knowes Car Park is super easy, a short walk away. I found the service from all the staff to be excellent, very friendly and positive. The breakfast was very tasty and table service. Overall, the Queens Head Hotel exceeded my expectations and I shall stay again when back in Kelso.
