An excellent location right in the middle of Northleach. The Sherbourne has the qualities of an old village pub (surely it's older than 1876!) but the restaurant areas are extensive and comfortable, and there's even a private dining room for hire. Dinner was excellent, with a varied menu and good wine list with small plate choices as well as a walker's feast. The Sherbourne has three bedrooms and ours had a freestanding bath in the bedroom (Don't worry, there's a fully fitted shower room as well). Smashing big bed. Nice toiletries (we rely on these when backpacking). We also had an outside private terrace - there's an extractor there that's very noisy when it's on! Staff were delightful, informative, kind and friendly. A small problem (not for us) on check-in was dealt with kindness and with courtesy. A very enjoyable one-night stay.
With free Wi-Fi and free parking for up to 18 cars, this contemporary country-style house is situated in Bourton-on-the-Water – known as the “little Venice of the Cotswolds”.

Right on the busy Fosse Way but that didn't trouble us backpackers for our one -night stay walking the Monarch's Way (it's a couple of miles off the path, with other trails in front of the hotel). Lovely room, kind owners, historic interior with great food and an excellent breakfast (served). Chedworth Roman Villa just up the road. A very good location for exploring this part of the Cotswolds. We'll happily stay for longer next time.
Situated in Bourton on the Water and with Cotswold Water Park reachable within 32 km, The Old New Inn features a restaurant, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi and a bar.

A wonderful period building with a lovely bedroom etc .The breakfast room was a delight to have breakfast in and the service was very good. The location was fantastic for all of the local sites and amenities. We enjoyed the bar/restaurant/beer garden too.
They even served my favourite beer- Timothy Taylor Landlord !! This all helped to make our first visit to Bourton-on-the Water a tremendous experience

Beautiful setting for Weddings
Great place to stay if you have dog.
Steeped in rich, historic charm with its honey-hued stonewall buildings and abundantly peaceful surrounding gardens, The Dial House Hotel in Bourton-on-the-Water is honoured to offer you a true...
Lovely Cotswold town, away from the main roads. Friendly locals and lovely to walk around. Great walks into fields for dog owners - accessed from the church graveyard.
Number of places to have breakfast - ranging from a full breakfast at The Wheatsheaf, to a bacon butty to a croissant with coffee.
Stroll along the main road to see the old, Cotswold stone houses, a number with Tudor features, then dive off into little closes for further beautiful views.
location great, meal great, service great. The room was mixed: what was great was a huge bed with very comfortable mattress and duvet, what was not good was being at the back looking out on a very small courtyard where the extractor fan from the kitchen was loudly pumping out air till 10pm. Room was comfortable but dark and a bit claustrophobic. Duvet was a bit too warm but very comfy. Hotel doesn't provide breakfast but there was an excellent cafe right next door. Enjoyed Northleach.
The room was lovely and really comfortable. Bath in the room was great. The pub and was full of character and cosy. The food in there was excellent and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Booked for my wife’s birthday and we both loved it. East access to other places in the Cotswolds and Northleach is really nice too.
There was no breakfast available, but there were a few nice options just few minutes from the hotel. The location was perfect, in the middle of a medieval village of Northleach in the heart of Cotswolds.
It was a perfect place to stay. The hotel was welcoming, warm and comfortable. We spent a nice evening in the bar and had an excellent night’s sleep. I shall certainly recommend it.
Right in the middle of the place - near a big public park, but with a road leading out of town to beautiful countryside. Northleach is a really interesting place.
