Impromptu stopover off on the way home from a weekend away at a family wedding, lovely Sunday lunch, room was clean, basic, comfortable & great value.
The staff that we met were all wonderful, an absolute credit to the wheatsheaf & by extension chef & brewer, they were all so friendly and helpful, we will definitely be back to visit this place again..

The welcome was superb, a smiley, helpful receptionist and a clean, bright reception.
The location is excellent, on a motorway services area and right next to the services entrance.
The room was on the ground floor and close to reception as I had requested, which I was really pleased about. It was clean and comfortable and I slept well. Wi-fi and TV reception were excellent.
I dropped my bags as it was getting a bit late and headed for the services to eat. Not a brilliant choice available but I survived.
