The staff at the property were very helpful and friendly. The evening meal I had was great and there was a good range of meals available. The room was clean and tidy but slightly dated. Locals were very friendly too.
The property was close enough to the motorway for easy access but far enough away that it didn't disturb your stay.

A cosy pub in a great location. Stayed 2 nights so had 1 dinner in the pub which was great and the other at the Michelin rated Bybrook restaurant at the adjacent Manor House which was brilliant.

The staff we very friendly yet relaxed about when we wanted dinner. This gave us time to enjoy the gardens with a glass of wine before coming into dinner. Dinner was tasty and perfect for what we wanted. We were one of the last tables to leave but the staff were in no rush to get us out of the dining room. We had to leave early the next day so missed breakfast but the gentleman who we saw when we left was very friendly even at 7am!
