Cheap and no frills, a no fuss and nonsense place with friendly staff and pub clientele. They made sure we had secure out of the way parking for the motorcycles… gave us take away menus to choose from and let us eat in the pub. I think the welcome was important as they made us feel at ease.

This hotel offers free Wi-Fi, and is just off the A1 motorway next door to the Bannatyne Health Club.

Larger room and bed than the average. Not including breakfast but having breakfast available is very welcome. Having a pool and sauna available is just brilliant, especially for such a reasonable price. I like the way that the cleaners only tidy up if you hang a notice on your door.

Great room and lovely bar below. Its a little noisy while bar is open but quiet after. Good central location, near beach and all shops/pubs/amenities. Lots of facilities in room : fan, fridge, full size kettle and drink making, safe, hanging space, bedside tables and plugs. Ensuite with shower. Self check in/out

Despite some poor reviews , I can only speak of my own experience. It's got "budget " in the title, set your expectations accordingly. Large bright room with an obviously recently refurbished ensuite . clean fresh bedding helpful staff.
