This place is a little gem. It's great value for money. I have stayed here twice. The rooms are spotless, and we'll equipped with tea and coffee making facilities.There were some extra hot chocolate and biscuits too. I had a separate bathroom with bath and shower, lovely fluffy towels and complimentary shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. Thank you. I will book again when in the area.

Everything you need for a really peaceful relaxing break. Didn't see anyone the whole time apart from takeaway delivery guy. Animals close to you who pop head over fence occasionally but are no bother, nice to watch when sat in hot tub.
Hot tub was fired up ready for our arrival which was brilliant.

It was very cosy, me and my partner found it very romantic. We were greeted in the morning by a very cute dog which was a nice surprise. The complementary eggs were also a Great touch!

We stayed here a year and a half ago just as the new owners...
We stayed here a year and a half ago just as the new owners were taking over and the place has been transformed. Lovely clean room with a complementary bottle of wine which was a lovely extra. We had dinner and drinks in the restaurant which was very tasty and really good value for money and it had a lovely atmosphere with a cosy wood burning fire. We opted for a rate with breakfast which again was fantastic with great quality ingredients and my daughter loved the hot chocolate. Would definitely recommend and we will definitely be back.

Supermarkets within a 10 minute drive of site Have stayed at this site many times and have found egress from the site can be risky. We leave the site by turning left, do a U turn at next junction on right, then join traffic with good site in wing mirror. We eat at several different outlets. It is a central location which makes it a good base to...
It is a central location which makes it a good base to explore from. We didn't actually visit the town but drove to the Eden Project, Tintagel, Lost Gardens of Heligan, Polperro, St Austell etc. The local roads are narrow and winding, it takes ages to get anywhere, and you have to reverse a lot back to passing places on single track roads! We are vegetarian and found it easy to find really good places to eat. I recommend visiting Olive and Co at Sibleyback lake.

The hotel is 5 miles from Liskeard, which we did not visit other than to drive through! There is at least one petrol station which we did use. We like to be able to prepare our own food and to relax at a table rather than going to endless restaurants while travelling. The garden was very pretty and calming, with a delightful little waterfall made by the owners from debris they found in the garden after purchase. Accommodation was spotless. Great walk-in shower. There's a Spar type shop down the road in Pensilva village in case you need anything, and Liskeard is only a ten minute drive away. The room was beautiful and comfortable, and we were provided with a lovely selection of local refreshments. Shower gel, soap and shampoo were presented on soft white towels, a lovely touch! The owners and their team were friendly, professional and made us feel welcome. The local ale went down far too well 😂 And the food was excellent, hats off to the chef!

The room was spotless, plenty of tea and coffee and a bottle of water, a real mug and a real glass for the water! Plenty of toiletries. Lovely breakfast cooked to order. Sadly the bar and kitchen are closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays but I was may aware of this at the time of booking and they supplied me with information on local restaurants and take aways. Great parking.

The bathroom is new and spacious as well. The view from the terrace is lovely to the green hills. Great to have breakfast or dinner at. The area is green and natural with very few buildings nearby. We loved our stay. I think the properly looks and feel much better than the pictures.
