The hosts Steve and Cara were brilliant, very friendly and helpful. The room was cosy and homely, which was perfect for us. The size of the breakfast was very generous. When I'm visiting my family in the West Country, we'll be staying here again!

The property has everything you need for a short or long stay. We self-catered and the kitchen had everything we needed, even a washing machine! If the weather's good, the outdoor seating and garden are lovely.

Wonderful grounds, comfortable room, Very helpful staff, Delicious food.
Close to Dunkerswell airfield where our son was doing a skydive.
We enjoyed the peaceful location in a picturesque setting.
We enjoyed the peaceful location in a picturesque setting. A short walk to the centre of Honiton with a nice selection of shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants. The Yellow Deli, Mama Mia (Portuguese) and The Holt are good places to eat. Good local bus service to places such as Lyme Regis, Seaton, Sidmouth and Axminster at a reasonable cost. Train to Exeter is also a short walk from the Honiton town centre.
Plenty of other places to visit within the surrounding area.

I booked a room with a queen bed and was given a standard double. The traffic noise was horrendous, the traffic even made the bed vibrate. I had to put the radio on at 6am, I couldn't stand the noise any longer. I packed my bag and left as soon as possible. When I arrived I was told the restaurant didn't open on Monday's, it's the chef's night off. It would have been useful if I had been made aware of this beforehand, there isn't really anywhere to eat nearby. The most awful place I have ever stayed, and I do travel a lot for work .I felt it was very expensive looking at the room which was in dire need of refurbishment, absolute rip-off. The owner was very unhelpful when I contacted him afterwards

A lovely stay in a rural location.
A lovely stay in a rural location. Comfortable accommodation for four adults, two young children and a dog. We loved the private apple orchard with great views of the land and took advantage of the barbecue and picnic area one evening. Our children really liked the 'entertainment' room on the third floor where games, books and the TV are located. Also a great location for dog owners - just look out for cows and where you step! 😄 Over all a very nice stay.

We loved spending 2 hours in the pottery painting shop, where the choice included delicate wildflower embossed mugs and other practical pieces to paint.
The town boasted an excellent display of the lace making heritage, along with high quality cafés and clothing shops.
Plenty of parking in high season and good value supermarkets right nearby - large store Co-op and Iceland.
Wide main street extending approx half a mile, with off shoot parking.

Honiton looked pretty but the pub was closed and the Thai restaurant advertised at our accommodation didn't exist. We had to drive ti get food, bot good after a five hour journey followed by a funeral . I think we were unlucky. The area itself was stunning.

Typical small Devon town, we visited the area for a wedding...
Typical small Devon town, we visited the area for a wedding so place was a convenient walk to the venue, didn't eat out so cant comment on the take away or pub situation. Place we stayed was brilliant, private, relaxing with a hot tub and hosts were very helpful and friendly. Communication before from the hosts was excellent also.
We had a short stay, just overnight as seeing relative nearby. Lizi was very welcoming and communication before was great and very friendly. The Lookout is really spacious, with a huge and very comfortable bed. The views in the morning across the fields to Honiton are fabulous. Sadly, we weren’t there long enough and the weather not warm enough to try the pool or use the garden but they looked lovely. The welcome muffins, eggs and bread were a really nice touch too.
Lovely accommodation nothing too much trouble for the hosts Gary & Marci who made us feel welcome, cabin was well laid out and exceptionally clean and comfy with views of open fields to the front. Location was excellent for us too being close to Honiton. Pub 100yrds up the road for a lovely evening meal if you don't feel up to driving. Will definately stay again next time we are in the area.
Amazing location. We fell in love at first glance.
The staff members are amazing. We were not feeling as in a hotel, rather at our friends’ house.
The place we stayed was exceptional. We never experienced staying in a mobile home before. Glad that we had this chance. The bed was comfortable and the room was elegantly designed and neat.
Almost everything, there was nothing missing that we could have needed,
Lot's of little touches that made it feel home from home
Location perfect for nearby Honiton and trips further afield, Exeter, Lyme Regis etc
Views exceptional, very quiet location, slept well
Harry and his wife were very welcoming and helpful
We were on a roadtrip, and had seen many B&Bs, but Cara and Steve's B&B do easily beat all we had before. Really lovely rooms, amazing hosts and a fresh breakfast directly brought to your room by Cara and Steve... If you are in the area of Exeter/Honiton I cannot imagine a better place to stay.
The lodge was beautiful spacious a gorgeous hot tub with lovely furnishings in a secluded wooded area in honiton the only downside is there is no real village pub etc in walking distance but this didn’t bother us
Greg the onsite manager was super helpful when we had an issue with our booking
Spacious accommodation with much thought given to making guests feel comfortable and relaxed. Excellent breakfast choices which, as there was no dining area, were served in our room. Delightful host, Cara, made our stay, albeit for just one night, extremely enjoyable.
The location was good for us being near Honiton. It was a lovely homely farm house which had been well adapted,it was clean and airey. Pam, the owner was very friendly and helpful. There were lovely gardens to sit in and the breakfast was perfect.

Traditional Inn on the old main road to Exeter. Excellent food - both evening meal and breakfast. Very large garden out the back which is ideal if you have kids. Friendly proprietors. A couple of miles from Honiton.
Fabulous breakfast ,wonderful staff, superb beer. The owners very attentive to detail, this hotel/restaurant/public house is a real gem .When we return to this area of Devon will definitely like to return.
Very cute, great location to walk into Honiton.
Beautifully decorated, with everything you need.
It felt very homely and cosy, plenty of room for two
couples as there is two bathrooms.
The location was great for our visit to Honiton. We found the rooms very comfortable, clean and spacious enough to accommodate our 2 dogs. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
