We were a party of 3 rooms visiting for a family party on...
We were a party of 3 rooms visiting for a family party on the South side of Sheffield, so this was the perfect location, a lovely quiet village only 3 miles from the venue. The staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The beautifully decorated rooms were heavenly and of a very high standard: large ensuites, comfortable beds, large screen tv, tea and coffee facilities. We were able to relax in the cosy bar before we left for the party and the next morning, the breakfast was superb and great value for money. It goes without saying that we would love to visit again!

This is a pub with well appointed and private rooms above. Situated in a quiet village, this means it's peaceful and away from the usual tourist hot spots, which is a real benefit. This does mean a drive to get supplies though, although this shouldn't present a problem, given that visiting around the Peak District requires car travel anyway.. Super friendly and helpful staff who definitely go the extra mile. Good food is available accross the road at the Angel Public House/Restaurant. The breakfast is excellent and particularly good value for money.MattUnited Kingdom
