The location of this place was great and worth the money we paid. Clean and tidy and very welcoming by the host and she was friendly and polite only thing I got to say bad is it needs a fresh coat of paint and updating as the lounge seating was not very comfortable but all in all very nice u could hear a pin drop here I highly recommend this to any sea fishing person or even a family with children as well and across the road was a farm park with a indoor play barn and farm shop with a bistro but the accommodation was beautiful and good and the beds was very comfortable as well with fresh clean bedding but that could do with updating to as it was a bit old and tried but it was clean and fresh could not ask for any thing better for the money thank you.

A lovely quiet location ideally situated for walking with many trails to choose from literally just outside the front door. Stunning surroundings and an ideal getaway from the hustle and bustle. Relaxing, good standard of food in and around the local area but within easy reach of the main motorways.
The Hood Arms, The Farmers Arms, The Lamb Inn are highly recommended. Walks to the Quantock Hills, Holford Combe and Kilve Beach are lovely walks to consider. Creams teas at the nearby Combe Hotel are also not to be missed.

Holford is a really pretty village and an ideal base to explore the Quantocks. The village has a friendly pub, The Plough Arms which offers good value food and there is a hotel, Combe House where we had afternoon tea in the garden.

The property was very good and the surroundings and furnishings were top quality.
It would be very difficult to get to the hotel without transport as it is about a mile off the main road, down a single track road and very remote. If you like peace and quiet and solitude it would be ideal.
The service was exemplary. Everyone went out of their way to be helpful. The evening meal was exceptional, so much so that we skipped the full breakfast the next day, limiting ourselves to the continental breakfast which was more than adequate and quite delicious.
The hotel could be found at the end of a narrow road, opening up to a large car park.
Location is fab, beautiful spot. Gareth and team are excellent, the landscape has been challenging in the last year, that was our third visit in the last 12 months…..with opening up, it gets better every time we go. Take your walking boots, holford/hodders Combe walk is amazing
Excellent location for exploring the Quantocks, with good walking trails next to the hotel. Food was great and staff were friendly and attentive. Free parking and quiet surroundings with birdsong the main sound was very pleasant.
Great location in a peaceful setting. We loved being able to walk from the hotel into the Combe. The restaurant was very good as well. Lovely friendly staff. Large comfortable bed.
