We got a free upgrade due to maintenance work on our original booking! We were very pleased as it was absolutely beautiful.
It was very private, peaceful, and a home away from home. Clare was very attentive and got back to us ASAP if we messaged about anything at all.

Helston has a long history, interesting shops and is a good starting point for visiting beaches, geology and ice cream!Since the by-pass, the town centre is safer! Big Salisbury's, Lidl. Access to the Lizard, Porthleven, Praa sands Kynance Cove all within 20 minutes travel.
I stayed at the Premier Inn with its restaurant, car park and spacious room.

The quietude of the space was so right for me.
The quietude of the space was so right for me. Lizard Peninsula easy to get to and only took a few minutes.
I loved the Llamas and donkey pottering around the site.
Because the property had a balcony and good outdoor furniture. I could sit there and view the sea in the background.

Helston is a lovely little place. There are nice pubs and places to eat, especially the burger place called Boo Koos . A few good shops to peruse, would stay here again as it makes a good base for exploring the area.

I have visited Helston many times and find that the town is suffering from the results of the pandemic and its affect on local businesses. Having said that the area around is still full of interesting places to visit and nice people.

Helston as a town has been left behind. In poor shape.
Helston as a town has been left behind. In poor shape. However, the surrounding area is wonderful. Porthleven, small but very friendly and welcoming.
Location ideal for exploring the St Ives, Penzance, St Michael's Mount, and the coast from Porthleven round to Falmouth. Wonderful memories 💖. Thank you.
Birgitt and Paul are lovely hosts, very welcoming, friendly and helpful.
We will definitely return to Mandeley Guest House in Helston!
Great location; accommodation exellent, spotlessly clean room with super comfy bed (room cleaned every day); the shower powerful and towels luxurious soft; brekfast was fantastic, cooked to perfection, top quality and lots of choice every day!
Highly recommend to anyone visiting West Cornwall!
Thank you so much Birgitt and Paul!
no.52 B&B was a perfect fit for my visit in the Helston area!! Kim and the staff have an ideal location complemented with choice comforts top to toe! The breakfast was first rate, my room and the public space immaculate and most importantly, massive friendliness and welcoming spirit and conversation. *Bonus to be right next door to The Blue Anchor Pub serving up superior Spingo too!! For sure I'll return next time through 🤙🏼🌎👊🏼
The private Hotel is located just around the corner of local resturants and shops, its a beautiful area. The room was better then shown in pictures it was a very comfortable and the room was bug, we are a family of three but a family of four could have easily fitted in the room. The room and bathroom were so clean, it felt like home. The owners are so welcoming too. I don’t think I can fault anything.
The farm has exceptional views over Cornwalls countryside the room was very clean and very comfortable .
June is lovely and caters to your needs.
Breakfast is served at a time that suits and a good choice available.
Its set in the country side which makes it quiet, its easily accessible and close to Helston.
Cant wait for our next adventure and visit again.
Amazing little find!
Very central to every where in Helston but felt like it was secluded as it is tucked away just up the hill near the church.
The accommodation was immaculate and had everything I needed to hand.
I had a lovely stay here visiting my family, I would highly recommend Oliver's Yard and would definitely book again myself in the future.
Best hosts I've ever had. One of them actually collected me from the town of Helston some distance from the property! The location is lovely with a grassy garden to wander in. The cottage itself was lovely with lots of character. Loved the place and would love to come again.
Monterrey Pines was a wonderful welcoming place to stay whilst on a recent visit to see family.
Beautifully decorated room with all the features of a hotel.
Breakfast was a feast for the eye and tummy, extremely scrummy.
We will definitely book again for our next visit 😀
We stayed here for around 4 days and it was great. It was raining most of the evenings so we couldn't enjoy the outdoors much.
But if you are visiting Cornwall this would be ideal. Close to Hells mouth, St Michael's, Worlds End and Lizard Point.
Our room was large and well set out with a very good en-suite bathroom. We had everything we needed.
The hotel has the best people working for them; their friendliness and willingness to please made our stay perfect . We are planning our return.
A well run hotel with friendly helpful staff our room was lovely and comfortable with all we required available all food excellent but we ate to much? We will return and will be recommending to friends and family.
Beautiful B&B with fabulous host and hostess!! Karen and Derek were not only helpful but very fun to visit with. If we ever make it back to this area we will absolutely stay here! Well done Karen and Derek!!
It was tranquil - the rooms pristine - yet comfortable. Hostess queen of hospitality. Breakfast choices amazing . Location close to Helston and coast - accommodation s all on one level a plus.
Davy is a gem of a host. Couldnt do enough for us. Breakfast amazing. We'll definitely return when visiting family in Cornwall again. Helston is a good location.
