The setting of the property is wonderful and the views are lovely. Our room was comfortable and had everything we needed. We loved the entrance hall and the traditional aspects of the original building which seamlessly became more modern and fresher. The spa is beautiful - so calm and relaxing. The staff were exceptional with a balance of friendly and efficient.

The room was very large and had everything needed, even biscuits and water jug. The location is perfect. so close to the heart of Kelso. Parking at the nearby Knowes Car Park is super easy, a short walk away. I found the service from all the staff to be excellent, very friendly and positive. The breakfast was very tasty and table service. Overall, the Queens Head Hotel exceeded my expectations and I shall stay again when back in Kelso.

Very well organized and accommodating for an early breakfast. A setting with some lovely detail in the design of the furniture and art on display. Room was spacious and clean.

nice little village, clean and quaint, but not much there, basically 1 little village shop and 1 Pub with Cafe attached...The pub was very good and so was the cafe, Expertly run by the Lovely Tara...Who provided great Food, (during the Day)...including Gluten Free Options, which were Delicious. The pub Closed at 9pm and Didnt serve food in the evening after 4pm. This meant that if you were staying in Gordon, you had to travel at least 7 miles to Kelso to get food...Kelso was also the nearest Supermarket.

Gordon is a bit off the beaten track so a car is essential for getting about. Lovely countryside and lots to do around about. We visited the Jim Clark Museum in Duns which was a highlight for my husband who is an F1 fan. This was around 10 miles away. We visited Kelso and Berwick on Tween also short distances away.

A great place to visit with countryside around and a comfortable location. Jane's Place, where we stayed, was very reasonable, and we enjoyed the warm welcome we received. Supper next door was great, as was the cooked breakfast Jane provided. Thanks, Jane!
