Greeted very nicely by the people in the pub.
Had a first class meal in the restaurant next door. Make sure you book it. Called Milan and one of the unexpected highlights of our trip.

The views were lovely, there are no shops near,other than Wooler 10 minutes drive . The welcome was really lovely .The lane driving to the cottage is unlit and a sat nav is handy as no sign for cottage . Countryside is amazing .
