Fairlie is a little village just south of Largs and with a lovely beach on the bay - with views of the power station and Great Cumbrae. There is a friendly local pub, the Village Inn, with good outdoor garden space serving pub favourites. It's possible to take a little trek to Largs taking in the marina and the Pencil, commemorating the Battle of Largs.

Peaceful little spot with a sandy beach literally at the bottom of the garden. Comfortable, welcoming apartment with everything we needed for a couple of days away from it all. Short drive to Largs where there are so many good places to eat it was very hard to choose. There is a petrol station with a Londis a 2 minute walk from the apartment and a pub as well. Lots to do in the local area too.JacquelineUnited Kingdom
