Dear sir/madam On the 9th June 2024 myself and as friend stayed overnight at the Washington in Bristol. Problems with room number 9. The room was very dirty, stains on skirting boards, wallpaper fallen off, huge lumps of dust behind broken radiator. Lights did not work, bathroom door would not shut, curtains were hanging off rails and would not close properly. The window opens too far for being on floor room. Anyone could climb in at night if we had open. Room was cold. I am really disappointed with staying at the Washington. I feel dirty having slept in the unfit room. Really nice hotel, have stayed here before because there's never any issues and the location is near where I need to be. Bed is comfortable, so no problems sleeping. Staff are always great, and the breakfast is always tasty
