We arrived at the Wayside and whisky barn on our motorbike after a long ride up from Cheshire for the Dave Myers (Hairy biker) commemorative ride.
We had a very lovely welcome from Emiko. Check in was very straightforward, she showed us to our lovely room, room 1. The photos did not do it justice.
Emiko has very high standards but this does not make the stay uncomfortable.
The accommodation was immaculate, beds so comfortable
We didn’t eat dinner there so can’t comment on that. We did have breakfast which was lovely and Doreen the lady that served our breakfast couldn’t do enough for us, you can tell she enjoys meeting people and enjoys what she does.
We had a couple of drinks in the bar, that is a lovely comfortable space. Dan, Emiko’s husband is also very welcoming, chatting to me and my husband for a long while (shared interest of motorbikes)
Just a lovely stay, will return again for a longer stay in the future. Beautiful location too.

Everything was just great. Can't say a bad word about the accommodation or a host. All have been perfect. Loved the cottage, location, and character of the place. I will be recommending it to all my friends.

Excellent location, on a nice site and easy to find, just put put haverigg ski bar into google maps and it’ll take you straight there. Caravan is nice with a great decking area.
