Owners were friendly and they catered for my food intolerances by preparing a special breakfast for me and providing special milk.
The mattress was firm and comfortable (and not lumpy as per other reviews).
Our room was spacious and had lovely views of grazing sheep.
The bits and bobs supplied (dental kit, sewing kit, etc) was a nice touch.

Cottage itself was a lovely little place as was the village of Corris, the riverside location was particularly pleasant. Set in beautiful surroundings of the Dulas valley that is very peacefull and unspoiled.
In the heart of the village of Powys, The Penrhos Arms is a short drive from Machynlleth and offers views of the valley and the mountains and parking is free.

Everything was spot on. Room was nice and clean. Bed was super comfy. Arrival was super easy with host just showing me to my room. Key was already in the room so i was left to my own devices really quickly. Wifi code was given to me too on showing me to my room. My evening was nice and relaxed with a smart tv in my room so had all of the steaming services i have at home on the tv in my room so i didnt have to sit and watch on my phone.
The next morning i was greeted nicely by the host in the dining room where i sat down for an awesome full english breakfast with also the choice of cerial, tea and coffee.
I then just left the key in the back of the door to my room when i left. No palava of going yo reception to check out. Just get your stuff and leave.
