We arrived at the Wayside and whisky barn on our motorbike after a long ride up from Cheshire for the Dave Myers (Hairy biker) commemorative ride.
We had a very lovely welcome from Emiko. Check in was very straightforward, she showed us to our lovely room, room 1. The photos did not do it justice.
Emiko has very high standards but this does not make the stay uncomfortable.
The accommodation was immaculate, beds so comfortable
We didn’t eat dinner there so can’t comment on that. We did have breakfast which was lovely and Doreen the lady that served our breakfast couldn’t do enough for us, you can tell she enjoys meeting people and enjoys what she does.
We had a couple of drinks in the bar, that is a lovely comfortable space. Dan, Emiko’s husband is also very welcoming, chatting to me and my husband for a long while (shared interest of motorbikes)
Just a lovely stay, will return again for a longer stay in the future. Beautiful location too.

Everything! Loved this place! The Hotel's beautiful and classy, and the staff couldn't be friendlier or more professional. Gorgeous rooms, beautifully done. I had an issue which she sorted out professionally, without any fuss, and she went above and beyond, just dealt with it.
