Friendly staff. Very clean. Good sized room. Large comfortable bed. Not a huge choice for breakfast but adequate and good quality... excellent porridge. Can't quite make up my mind about the evening meal, it didn't quite hit the spot, as if the chef was trying too hard....and far too much salt, after 2 meals we ate elsewhere on our third night. Still, a good hotel and I will happily stay again.

The staff are attentive and friendly; the rooms traditional but with all mod-cons and supremely comfortable.
