Really nice house - highly recommended. Welcoming but unobtrusive hosts, convenient yet peaceful location, lovely countryside views & places to sit (kites & swallows flying right overhead). Spotlessly clean (really exceptionally so), masses of towels, really warm, lots of hot water. Kitted out with absolutely everything one might need, including a comprehensive file of useful numbers, things to do etc. They're obviously seasoned hosts & know exactly what people need for an easy, enjoyable stay.
Two tiny comments, neither of which would stop us coming back: it would be nice to have a selection of books - there are guide books but no novels. & the bedside lights in one of the bedrooms could do with being a bit brighter. But we would very happily stay here again. Very impressed!

We only stayed 1 night as we were dropping our daughter off at uni. We would return and spend more than 1 night next time. The bungalow had everything we would have wanted and more. Although we didn't cook the kitchen was really well equipped.

The bungalow was lovely, located in a picturesque and quiet location, I really enjoyed my stay. There was a sting after we left. We were late leaving as we cleaned the bungalow leaving it as safe as possible for the cleaner who followed after us. This meant we left an hour late. Our host made a special reference to this in an email and thanked us and then charged us £25 for leaving at 10 am instead of 9.00 am, I also got fined £15 for paying a £100 damage deposit 1 day late. I won’t stay here again. The £40 was taken out of my damage deposit. So that action tarnished my stay.
