Breakfast was good and leisurely. We were able to stay until 10am which allowed time for a short walk in the striking thatched cottage village and surrounding countryside with a beautiful chalk stream

We have been in 9 different places to sleep in the almost 3 weeks holiday in Scotland and England and this was the number one, short over one more.
A beautiful little house from 1840. Modernized, but keeping some of the beautiful old. Lovely bIg Garden with even chicken who's eggs we could even eat.
Incredible good taste in decoration and the details.
So clean and kept in order. Framed plans of the building keep you in the history.
Wonderfully little things to eat for breakfast in the little own kitchen.
Such friendly hosts who renewed one more old house for themselves. Still enough distance to feel privat and on you.
I hardly can stop praising :).
And half an hour to Stonehenge and others like Avebury and to Salisbury.
Thank you both so much.
Lovely base for exploring the area great for dog walking...
Lovely base for exploring the area great for dog walking and close to Stonehenge and Salisbury. Very quiet small hamlet no shops except Farm shop that’s isn’t open everyday. Lovely little pub opposite with delicious food at a reasonable price
The staff here are so nice, every person that I saw said hello, asked if I was ok, asked if I wanted a drink or anything whilst I was doing whatever I was doing which was really nice. Late check out of 11am which is also good and I could use the hotel for bits when it was past check in and nothing was any hassle for any of the staff there. They are so so nice! Decor is really quirky, a little bit 'live, laugh, love' but honestly I like that kinda thing. I will definitely stay again if I am in the area.
The staff was absolutely the best. Very friendly and accommodating. Lex, Shannon and Jason were delightful and extremely helpful. The breakfast was outstanding and I am now a fan of the English breakfast! The place was charming and quiet. It gave me the feel of an old style cottage in the English country side. Whenever I come to Salisbury I will be staying here. The pricing makes this place a great value and worth it for sure.
This hotel was fantastic
Lovely evening meal, great bar. Rooms are well maintained with comfortable beds.
Staff go above and beyond - they are dog friendly and love four legged friends. Provided a luxury treatment for our dogs with there own sausage breakfast!
Buffet style breakfast included which was lovely
Would definitely stay here again :)
When I arrived I had to call the number on the door to be let in. There was no hot water or heating until the evening. Gardens and room was a little tatty. Lock on room door didn't work very well. Had to turn it many times before it would lock or unlock. Shower not what I'd expect for a 4* hotel. Sealed units on windows broken so couldn't see out.
Super nice hotel!
Great countryside hotel. Everything was nice. Me and My Big Brother and my family would surely choose it again next time we visit Gray Manor Hotel. Great location, great service, friendly staff.
