We had an amazing stay here this weekend to see Taylor Swift. The staff were amazing and let us check into our room early so we could get ready. Very cute bar and we were able to leave our luggage there the whole next day before leaving. Lovely and comfortable rooms and bathrooms. 2 mins walk to the tram or 20 mins walk into town. Would definitely return and recommend!

The location was fab. Free parking and a lovely pub downstairs.
We ate at the hotel. The building is old which is a limiting factor despite the efforts of the staff. The highlight of our stay was a visit to Rosslyn Chapel but other than that there were none. Carlops is a very small hamlet with a population of about 80 people only. If you are travelling in East Lothian try and avoid B roads as they are pitted by potholes.
