I can’t review this as my stay was a stop over on the way to Llanberis. I can say though that the mountains were not far away on my journey and the scenery changed dramatically very soon after leaving and it was stunning.
Location was fantastic, well in off the road and surrounded by nice scenery,I stopped off for 1 night to relax and unwind and the food was lovely with a small but nice selection of beers on offer. The old house part of the hotel is lovely inside.. rooms are nice and clean and shower was good. Comfy bed and pillows!
Lovely Place, and the staff were excellent. The Main Hotel was warm, and the Dining room was very Good, with a good choice of Menu. We did not have an evening meal there. There were good Tea/Coffee facilities in the room and fresh towels every day. There was a lovely outlook over the fields of sheep.
I would have preferred a cooked breakfast. As the address was Caersws, I thought the roads to where I needed to travel each day would have been easier. I am sure for people who wanted to go walking the scenery and the area was beautiful . and the hosts were very pleasant.
It was superb. The delight of a historic building well adjusted to be a superb independent hotel. Everything was real old world and the location to peaceful. This is the place to come relax and switch off and the staff are so friendly.
Breakfast to die for. Awesome.
This is a fantastic hotel with a great atmosphere and food. I stayed here with our rescue team for an event in the forest and had the best room I have ever stayed in. The staff are lovely and attentive and the food is delicious.
B&B means for me you don’t stay in an anonymous hotel but in the private settings of your host. In this case, it is an artist to the core within an extraordinary place where you can dive into arts all around
From check in to check out no problems at all.
Lovely quiet location, nice view from the window.
Restaurant reasonably priced for a hotel and food good.
Good breakfast menu.
Lovely staff.
The hotel management were super friendly and very accommodating as we arrived just after check in time around 11.00pm.
Breakfast was really lovely.
The bed was really comfortable.
Breakfast was brilliant, all ingredients were top class. The staff were lovely. The hotel is 50 yards from the River Severn
and the scenery of the surrounding area is beautiful.
The staff were brilliant, very friendly and helpful.
I would highly recommend the hotel.
Food was lovely. Would definitely return if I need to travel to Newtown for work again.
