room was comfortable and very clean, only problem was the view, it was of a brick wall which blocked the light out there was also wall paper coming away from the wall in various areas which made the room look a bit shabby, tv control was quite difficult to use for a control, could not work out how to get the tv guide up so really didnt know what was on.

Our visit was for a family funeral at Our Lady of Sacred Heart Chapel, literally at entrance to hotel car park. We didn't get a chance explore town, though area seemed very pleasant and residential.

Great location & setting, very picturesque.
Great location & setting, very picturesque. Staff very friendly, welcoming & helpful. Room was comfortable & facilities adequate. Lovely dual shower in bathroom. We had evening meals & breakfasts & all the food was lovely & of good quality. We would maybe go for slightly bigger room next time
The hotel is beautiful, lots of original features, it is set in lovely surroundings, dog friendly and more than enough room too take your pets for walks. Staff were helpful even though they were very busy with a big family Sunday lunch to serve, plus a children's punch and Judy show, we didn't have to wait too be served. We were welcomed with a smile and as we left a lovely goodbye.
Great sized family room for a family with two children. Two proper, very comfortable, single beds for the kids rather than camp beds which seems to be the norm in most hotels - especially chain ones. Lovely pretty hotel with nice grounds. Excellent breakfast.
The location was spot on.Quiet position near to open countryside and a property full of charm and character.Nice walk round the hotel grounds.Staff were friendly and efficient.Evening meal and breakfasts excellent.Coykdnt say anything negative really
