This was the second time we have stayed at mill forge as we both got married there and went back for our anniversary and still did not disappoint, friendly welcoming staff, good bar which serves food, very comfortable bed with clean rooms and a tasty breakfast to finish off your stay, highly recommended and will definitely stay again

We received a really lovely welcome. Our stay was short but we had everything we needed and even had some very helpful tips on where to go for a run! Coffee and toast in the morning with a selection of jam and marmalade was great. We stopped the night on our way further north and enjoyed our stay so much we booked to stay on our return journey as well!

The location felt remote and was very beautiful. Although, only a few minutes drive to the M6 making it really accessible too. We stayed in the bungalow which was very spacious (2 bedrooms, kitchen, bathroom, lounge/diner and private garden). We all had an incredible night's sleep because it was so quiet.

Beautiful shepherd huts with an incredible log burner, bathroom and kitchen. We were glad when the weather turned bad as it was extra cosy listening to the rain by the log burner. So very quiet, we were sad to leave. The gym is great. Well equipped. I had a workout which meant I lost no training time. Highly recommended.
