Paula and Cyrille were most welcoming and friendly. The Manor is very old but has been modernised sympathetically the rooms were spotless and comfortable. The food was excellent. We had dinner and breakfasts during our stay and were served hot and fresh and tasted superb. Compliments to Cyrille not only for the food but also his sense of humour. If you don’t mind the odd creaky floorboard, I would thoroughly recommend this popular place for a stay.

A lovely little village - a tranquil spot, yet just off the A303 and close to many lovely towns and attractions - Stonehenge, Stourhead, The Newt, Bruton, Shaftesbury.
The village itself is a small, linear settlement, but it does have a nice old pub, The Boot, with gardens adjacent to the river. Great for an evening meal or lunch.
