The Culloden Estate and Spa, hotel in Belfast

A 10-minute drive from Belfast city centre, Culloden hotel has a spa, a pool and a fitness suite. There is free parking, and Belfast Airport is a 5-minute drive away.

Only 10 minutes from George Best airport, very easy to find. Quick check-in. I had booked an estate room and was happily upgraded to the Bishop Suite. It had been a long day and as I walked through the door and looked out the windows, my heart soared! Beautiful view, beautiful suite. I usually avoid suites because as a solo traveller I feel like there is too much space for me, but this was perfect! Comfortable bed, comfy sofa. Had breakfast once, seated quickly and food lovely and plentiful. Bar service good, and there was usually some live piano music, and once even a singer. Easy to walk down the hill to the coastal path and get some of the sea air. Even on the day it was tipping down with rain, the room was lovely to be in.

Belfast is a really appealing city, with lots of attractions for any visitor to see. The centre of Belfast is quite compact and easy to walk around. There are a many restaurants with an excellent selection of menus. The traditional pubs are a must see. Have a pint of Guinness and you’ll be happy to chat with the other visitors. One such pub is The Crown. Its tiled exterior is a wonder to behold. The interior has a fantastic bar and a selection of private booths, where you can enjoy a great time over a drink.

We came to Belfast primarily to meet friends from the US on a coach tour. We had a lovely evening together. While in the city we booked a trip to go to see amongst other things the Giants Causeway this was excellent. City Tours. We spent a day exploring the Maritime Mile including the Titanic Experience. Well worth a day and needed. From what we saw we have decided to return to Northern Ireland to do a road trip. A country which needs exploring.

Leonardo’s is a beautiful hotel right beside the bus and train station. Perfect location to walk into the city centre. Rebecca on reception was extremely friendly and answered all our questions. Our room was lovely and bed and pillows were first class. Room was spotless, thank you to the housekeeping staff for all their very hard work. Breakfast is really varied, great choices and nice relaxing eating area. All the staff we had the pleasure to deal with were lovely. We love this hotel and will definitely return very soon.

This was the BEST place…loved it and would DEFINITELY come back to stay again. The coach house renovations were just splendid and the owners thought of everything! Loved the big folding doors that opened onto the patio. The gas fire pit was wonderful. Loved the kitchen layout. Our stay was only one night but all of us said we would definitely come again. This would make a great “home base” to use to travel to see sights around Northern Ireland!
