We loved the riverside walk. Ducks with her ducklings, Robin, Wagtails (grey and pied varieties), Oystercatchers, Rooks, Blackbirds, Robin, Jackdaws, Rooks, Dunnock, Swallows - all during a half an hour’s walk.

We were all very pleased with our stay here and would recommend it to anyone. The hotel was quiet and comfortable; homey. The breakfast was excellent. The view out front was picturesque. The parking was convenient.
Maybe a strange thing to note, but the towels and bedding were fresh and neutral instead of chemically-scented ... a real bonus for me. I also loved that they were line-dried.

On arrival we were offered a choice of rooms.. we chose the downstairs - surprised by size, fabulous view and it was a little more private. Very clean.. Staff were very thoughtful. It was raining and our host, Heather, offered to drive us to a wedding reception we were going to (that we may be able to have a glass of wine or two). We ordered breakfast the day before and were not disappointed. Definitely would stay here if visiting the area again.

It was so cosy nice and warm when we arrived it had absolutely everything that you would require to self cater for . The supermarket and eating places about 7 km away. Bed comfy shower good and very quiet. Small drive inland but worth it for the valley views. Had washing machine also. Great
Staying at the Bayview Apartments was great. It had all the necessary facilities needed. You will however need to drive to any local restaurants but there is a Spar shop at the local petrol station.
The scenery is fantastic with a local park nearby for walks/children’s play area.
We had a delicious dinner at the Ballygally Castle Hotel which can be a little expensive but the grounds are wonderful together with its history.
We saw dolphins swimming along the bay which was absolutely thrilling. Lovely place.
