The property was neat, roomy and comfortable and the shower worked really well. In the late afternoon the outside temperature had dropped, but the heating system had not come on. We phoned the contact number we had for the room, and the lady who we spoke to was in the building within 10 minutes to switch the heating on. Marvelous service!

I was made to feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. It is a lovely, quiet location on the canal. The rooms were clean and comfortable with tea and coffee making facilities, shower room and TV. The breakfast was excellent and I would certainly be more than happy to recommend it to anyone. I would definitely stay there again if I visit the area in the future.

We had evening meal in the restaurant, which has a really lovely atmosphere. The breakfast was excellent. We are both vegetarians and there was a good choice. Service was also very good at both meals.
We especially liked watching the bowling, perfect on a Summer evening.
