Right on the busy Fosse Way but that didn't trouble us backpackers for our one -night stay walking the Monarch's Way (it's a couple of miles off the path, with other trails in front of the hotel). Lovely room, kind owners, historic interior with great food and an excellent breakfast (served). Chedworth Roman Villa just up the road. A very good location for exploring this part of the Cotswolds. We'll happily stay for longer next time.

I loved everything about the Kings Head Hotel, it’s located so perfectly and has such a lovely atmosphere, somehow it feels spoiling but also relaxed and I loved being able to take my dog. The food was great and the spa is so relaxing.

We loved our stay! The staff were super friendly and informative on arrival. The hotel is very child friendly. Our 3 year old got an activity book on arrival and a little bear was waiting for him on his bed too! The views from the balcony was incredible
It’s definitely worth it!
