Owners were friendly and they catered for my food intolerances by preparing a special breakfast for me and providing special milk. The mattress was firm and comfortable (and not lumpy as per other reviews). Our room was spacious and had lovely views of grazing sheep. The bits and bobs supplied (dental kit, sewing kit, etc) was a nice touch.
