Small town with a thriving community feel to it.
Small town with a thriving community feel to it. Plenty of good places to eat and drink. During the summer there are cultural events happening weekly. For the walkers there are plenty of walks starting from the town nd plenty of other a short drive away. Munich, Saltsburg and Innsbruck only an hours drive away

Very nice beautiful place to stay alone or with family. I was there already more than 10 times, but wanna come back again and again! Very beautiful nature and fresh air in this place and many kilometers around in Germany and Austria- for me this is the heart of all beuatiful places in this region.

Cute little town close to lots of things to do. Hiking trails (at all levels), bike rental options (E Mountain bikes, very cool), local tourist centre for tips and 1hr drive to both Munich and Salzburg for day trips. We went in summer but it seems that this place is great in winter as well

The staff were so very friendly, going above and beyond in accommodating us and helping us when our train arrived late, delaying our arrival at the guesthouse. The room was very big and comfortable, and an excellent value for the price. The balcony was also very relaxing with a beautiful view of the town. The location was also very central within Reit im Winkl. We had a great breakfast every morning at the breakfast buffet. We would definitely recommend adding this to your stay.

Awesome German-style breakfast. The owners of the property are very polite, kind and helpful. There is also sauna in the hotel (included in the price), and massage (need to be booked separately). Nearby area is full of wonderful hiking paths with wonderful picturesque views and huts where you can stay and enjoy the nature.

I was met by Heike Haertinger who was amazingly pleasant and friendly. She escorted me to the breakfast room, showed me my table and informed when breakfast would be. Our evening meal there was the best we had on our 2 week trip. Breakfast was great too. Our room was large and clean. The proprietors were very nice. There was free parking.
