The receptionists (both female ladies were really nice and cooperative.
There was a gentleman at the reception (probably a manager) who did not seemed so pleased when I asked for an iron and also did not leave a pleasant and cooperative impression.

Planegg has a lot going for it.
Planegg has a lot going for it. It is close to Munich yet very quiet. In no time at all you can be in downtown Munich or enjoying Starnberg Lake. We experienced a fresh air market with many options, all locally sourced, and an Italian festival. One will find any type of store you may need, multiple churches, many dining options; all within walking distance.AAnonymous

Free parking is also possible nearby along the street. Beds are very comfortable, big plus for availability of rooms with 5 standard beds for bigger families. Bathroom looked new, actually the whole hotel looked very new. Just 5 min walk to train station where you have trains to center of Munich every 20 min approximately. Breakfast really good, it was actually sad to leave only after one evening & night.

The city Hotel is located in is very nice and quite. The personnel was absolutely fantastic, very friendly and supportive (special thanks to Martha on the reception). Breakfast with vast variety of food selections, including raw and vegan stations for those who interested. We were family of four with a pet - thus, rented a 2-room apartment - absolute value for money. Highly recommend this place for the short stay!

The location is remote but with public transit it was very easy to access from city center for an individual or couple. If traveling with family it would be difficult as breaking into smaller groups and returning to the hotel would limit easy meeting up later in the day.
