Cute little city with lots of nice Cafés and restaurants in the ancient city center. Nice castle to visit as well and lots of sporty activities possible. Swimming in the nice outdoor pool. Cycling and running by the canal. Quiet and laid back place to relax and enjoy life.

The restaurant was also very good and not expensive and has the advantage that you can arrive in the hotel until 10:00 in the evening. We looked for a break on our journey from Holland to Italy and liked the hotel so much that we also stayed there on our journey back to Holland the week thereafter.

It had a very comfy bed, good shower, nice kitchen. The location was perfect - a few mins walk from the old town, and very close to the train station and supermarket. The hosts were welcoming and friendly. Would definitely stay here again when I am in Hilpoltstein next time!AlinaLatvia

Facilities are modern and tastefully renovated. Located in the middle of town with everything in walking distance. Well worth a visit!
