The hotel’s location is excellent. It’s a 5-minute walk to the entrance of the Bastei Bridge, and there’s a pedestrian street right behind the hotel. It’s also close to several hiking trail entrances. The hotel itself is quite nice. The bed is very comfortable, and while the room isn’t large, it is well-arranged, making it an ideal place for a short stay.
Sauna is simple but enough.

Everything was literally perfect. It Felt like all the furnishings, all the facilities and all the service had been organised with the Comfort and enjoyment of the customers in mind - from the windscreen scrapers in the Lobby to help clean the car from the fallen Snow to the device / book holder by the Side of the bed to the reward System for not requiring housekeeping every day when not strictly necessary and of course the incredibly efficient , professional and friendly members of staff.

About a car ride from Bad Schandau to Dorf Wehlen - I highly recommend to go along the river Elbe - cross the bridge in Schandau, then take Königstein, again the bridge to the other bank of Elbe in Pirna and back to Dorf Wehlen, check the last part of the local
