perfect overnight stop. Good parking, off road. Lovely room and a good meal. The surroundings were also good, with a nice short walk to a castle or down to the village for after dinner. Finally price absolutely superb for the quality of accommodation

The deers running on the surrounding grounds, the landscape, and the surrounding nature can evoke a surreal experience, as much as the haunting details of mounted animals, taxidermy, old dolls in cribs. The room was very comfortable and well furnished. The castle itself was very beautiful, with many, very nice antiques throughout. It was very nicely decorated for Christmas throughout as well. The restaurant offered outstanding meals and the breakfast each morning was very pleasant. The hotel is also pet friendly and our dog was welcome everywhere in the hotel.DandCLGermany

We got a 2 bedroom apartment for £100 with breakfast, absolute bargain. At night the place was absolutely packed with people coming for dinner, it has about 100 tables inside and outside, the food was nice and not expensive. All and all you couldn't ask for more for the price paid.

Unfortunately, there was hunting happening in the vicinity of the hotel during our stay, therefore we could not take a walk in the surrounding woods.
