Staff are excellent especially the gentleman at the front desk when we checked in. Once he checked us in, we came down about a half hour later to go for a walk and he called me by my name (without looking it up)! Very pleasant and a great personality. I hope that you treat the staff well (pay) as the front desk staff and the lady that took care of the breakfast area were all so pleasant. Excellent

We were here for fall train trip and it was nice. Not needed again though. We went to a different place for every lunch and dinner. We had 2 serving staff that weren’t of a spicy attitude. The other 2 were nice and friendly. The food was fair but nothing that was amazing. I won’t go to the Sault again. Very pretty area though!

We went for fall foliage and were not disappointed- it was gorgeous! Hike Robertson Cliffs! We also did the Agawa Canyon Train and, hmm. We had hoped for a spectacular train ride, and it wasn't. The canyon itself is gorgeous, but you get 1 1/2 hours there which isn't much considering the train ride is 8 hours r/t. Most of the other passengers were elderly though so it seemed about right for the less mobile. We enjoyed the canal site and all the historical markers, but unfortunately went on Sunday and discovered the visitor center is closed on weekends. Huh? The seaplane museum was open and fascinating.

No police in Sault Ste Marie?
No police in Sault Ste Marie? People were drag racing up and down the Main Street in front of hotel all night. Hotel was dated and shabby but clean. For the price it wasn’t good value at all. I’ve paid similar rates at hotels that were well kept and updated. It was clean and staff were nice though.

We drove north of Sault Ste Marie along Lake Superior.
We drove north of Sault Ste Marie along Lake Superior. Absolutely beautiful. We drove up to see the pictographs but I was not able to complete the hike as it was pretty rugged. But my husband did and he got some fabulous photos. Luckily he did not go swimming due to the wet, narrow ledge.

The hotel was in a great location as we were primarily in town to do the Agawa Canyon train tour which was about 10min away. It was also near to a variety of food options. The room was clean and looked like it had been recently redecorated. The bed was very comfortable and the room had lots of space to move around in. Breakfast was available at this location and had enough options for us.
I loved the large terrace across the whole back of the building. Our little dog loved being able to go outside through the patio doors and sit with us. I loved being able to go outside and sit on the terrace too. We sat and talked with our 3 neighbors which is something you don’t usually get to do while staying in a hotel. The breakfast was a wonderful way to start the day too.
The rooms were great! Very clean and up to date! It was a convenient location to many restaurants. The breakfast in the morning was above average from what he have experienced the past few years at other hotels. The staff was super friendly and the check in process was swift.
Hotel is in very poor condition. Rooms were nicely renovated but after walking through the main lobby my family did not have high hopes. Front desk said there was a continental breakfast, however, no one could find it, and no one could find a staff member to ask about it.
Extremely clean . Great staff who helped us choose places to see on our Northern Ontario Road Trip. In close proximity to the boardwalk where we spent a few evenings... for a small motel this place is amazing and we stay at many places
The breakfasts were very good. We did have to purchase meals. The room was very comfortable, large bathroom. The location was good. On the St. Mary's River and across from Station Mall. One of the best hotels I have stayed at.
We asked for a reference for a good local restaurant. There response was North 82 very good excellent choice. Close to the hotel nice little walk after driving. Thanks to the staff for there recommendation
We enjoyed the stay at the hotel. When we arrived we had a bad thought’s because the looks of the building, but the room hanged all our thoughts it was nice and cleaned.
