    Hotel was clean, but dated.

Hotel was clean, but dated. Upon arrival at the airport it was promised that the shuttle would run every half hour and was shared with Hamon Inn. After waiting 45 minutes, it turned out that they had to be called and that they had their own transport. Misrepresented by Booking.com. Also, breakfast, which I had booked via Booking.com, turned out not to be included by the hotel and so we had to pay separately. So we did not have breakfast. According to reception, this had already been reported to Booking several times.

"Visiting Richmond, BC was an absolute pleasure and left me with unforgettable memories of a vibrant and welcoming destination. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the city's charm and diversity. Richmond's rich cultural tapestry was evident everywhere I went, from the bustling streets filled with eclectic shops and restaurants to the beautiful parks and gardens that offered a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. One of the highlights of my visit was exploring Richmond's renowned culinary scene. With its diverse population, the city boasts an array of dining options representing cuisines from around the world. From indulging in mouthwatering dim sum in the bustling Golden Village to savoring freshly caught seafood at Steveston's waterfront eateries, every meal was a culinary adventure. I was also impressed by Richmond's dedication to preserving its natural beauty and heritage. Steveston Village, with its historic buildings and picturesque waterfront, offered a glimpse into the city's past as a bustling fishing village. Additionally, the lush gardens of the Richmond Nature Park provided a serene setting for leisurely strolls and birdwatching. Throughout my stay, I was struck by the warmth and hospitality of the locals. Whether chatting with shop owners in the vibrant Asian malls or receiving recommendations from friendly residents while exploring the city, I felt welcomed and embraced by the community. In summary, my recent visit to Richmond, BC was a truly enriching experience filled with delicious food, captivating sights, and genuine hospitality. I would highly recommend this destination to anyone seeking a dynamic and culturally rich travel experience. I can't wait to return and continue exploring all that this wonderful city has to offer!"

I want my card refunded immediately as I requested that I be allowed to visit my brother at the property with an extra person , I was never refused prior To my arrival and I had asked prior to my original nite then I reiterated that on the 2nd booking I would likely still he in need of that privilege and the management never responded negatively so I brought my brother over and we arrived at 0200am and that was fine but the management seen my guest enter with me and although I was never told at anytime I couldn't entertain my guest, and we weren't causing any problems or noise but my guest and I were kicked out around 0230am and a separate Tenant threatened to physically harm us and we had disagreed with management but we were still following there exit request so it was very traumatic and I want a full refund for NY $120 plus nite in the cold Richmond, BC STREETs!!!! Now please, No delay!!!

If you have a rental car, Richmond is convenient for proximity to airport and access to the highways to connect to nearby districts. Chinese restaurants which I visited did not disappoint. I had to take away at Kirin which do not welcome lone diners. They told me they were full because I didn’t have a reservation. Whilst waiting for my takeaway order, they took in a party of 5 who had no reservations. They spoke in Chinese which I understood. Not a very nice restaurant but dim sum items were tasty. BBQ master serves authentic HK style roast meats. I had chicken and duck with rice which was excellent.

Very clean, great decor, wonderful amenities, robes, slippers, beds so comfortable, bathrooms are fantastic. I didn’t expect all this. Even the lighting in the room - love the relax setting. Staff always jumped to help with anything. Shuttle is accommodating. So impressed. I will always stay here now when I need an airport hotel in Vancouver (I go to Vancouver a lot) only thing, it is in an industrial area, can be sketchy if walking around or some views from the room. but it is by the airport so I think that’s to be expected.

This is a fabulous guest house to stay . It’s about 30 minutes from downtown Vancouver and within east reach . I have never had a more gracious and wonderful host as William was . Nothing was too much trouble . You will not want for anything here as it’s all provided. The breakfast was amazing and I am sorry I could not eat more than I did as it was delicious. Highly recommended Jessica House to anyone staying in this part of Canada . Many thanks and very best wishes for the future

My travel plans were thrown into disarray by cancellation of my BC ferry sailing and the front desk could not have been more helpful. They stored my bags and gave me good advice, all without impatience. The room was exceptional. Absolutely everything as one would hope for, but doesn't always get. Shuttle worked fine; driver polite and helpful. I've stayed at half a dozen YVR/Richmond hotels and this one stands head and shoulders above all the others.

Wonderful location in a Vancouver suburb. Beautiful, comfortable neighborhood a short drive from the Richmond Olympic Oval, and just steps out the front door there’s a fabulous walking/biking path along the coast with spectacular water and mountain views and a large park with trails, preservation areas, and awesome play areas for young and old alike. Easy access to the city, then come home and relax away from the hustle. Fantastic host!

Very quiet area close to a harbour with numerous bars and restaurants. Lovely local shops. Whale watching boat from the harbour. Very friendly helpful staff. Hotel connected to a cafe and liquor store. Also next door to a bar which served food. Supermarket opposite. Great for buses into Richmond and from there links by Sky train to many places. Beautiful walk along the harbour to a Japanese heritage fisheries site...very interesting.

This hotel has great character, from the mock Tudor design on the outside, to the Robert Burns tapestry and Scottish clans maps on the lobby walls. The double queen room was a good size and we appreciated the buffet breakfast. The hotel was conveniently located in Richmond only a 10 minute shuttle/taxi ride from Vancouver Airport and a few minutes walk from Richmond Station, which gave good access to downtown Vancouver.
