This bnb was just lovely. Amazing location and the cabin! So cute with comfy beds - the kids LOVED the loft and the added touch of the hosts art on the walls - this place is very special. The kids also loved the bunnies and the ducks.

Stunning location, very interesting property! Lots of space in the cabins. Enjoyed our stay!
I love Powell River! Am fortunate to have a friend living there who showed us things I wouldn't have found on my own. I'm interested in the arts so we visited several art galleries. Very inspiring!
We started in Lund ( great bakery!) and worked out way south.

Powell River is an amazing place if you are a lover of the outdoors. While the town itself has all the amenities you want from garages to large grocery stores, a few restaurants and some beaches, the best of this part of BC's lower mainland only accessible by ferry or private plane is the scenic coastline, the shorefront, the parks, and the wildlife.

Powell River is great if you like to get away from the fast pace city life. There is very little traffic! There are lots of different beaches to explore. There are also hiking trails in the woods. On our drive to Lund we saw 2 different bears by the side of the road. Then when we went to Gibsons Beach on another day we saw 2 bears again. We also saw soaring bald eagles. There are nice restaurants in town. But we preferred to cook our own food.
Willingdon Beach has a great playground for kids.

Inland Lake was awesome.
Inland Lake was awesome. You need about 6 km drive off road, bou you will not regret the drive. Walking around the lake is not something to be missed. Take food with you and enjoy a relaxed meal after a good swim in the lake!

Powell River is a beautiful, well-kept place to visit.
Powell River is a beautiful, well-kept place to visit. We have enjoyed the Historical Tour a lot. Another highlight, while waiting for the ferry was a walk to Costa de Sol Latin Cuisine where we had a wonderful outdoor lunch. There are great ocean views from many many places! We especially enjoyed the ferry trip from Saltery Bay to Earl's Cove and back, though with it being a busy summer day, the wait was long and hot in the Bay waiting area. Powell River is a bit locked-in as there are ferries to take in both directions, but we kept busy exploring for our two days. Travel around and on to the rest of the Sunshine Coast is a bit easier/quicker in the off-season, but we still enjoyed P River A LOT!!

Lots of options for dining.
Lots of options for dining. We explored the area by jeep, looking for rec sites to camp at in the fall. Found lots of places. Inland Lake has a 13km walking trail around the entire lake, going to do that for sure. Locals mentioned the fishing is amazing in all the lakes
I stay here every time I am in Powell River. The view is amazing any time of year, in fact you can watch the seasons change while you sit on your balcony. It can be raining and stormy one minute and the next the clouds part and you will witness the most beautiful sunset imaginable. The restaurant is great, nice patio in the summer, the staff are very accommodating and it is close enough to the town that you can hop in your car and be there in 5. I love the Pacific Point Market just up the road for deli, lunch, snack and picnic goodies.
No breakfast included, so N/A. Location was fairly good for anyone not needing to be in the town of Powell River and closer to Saltery Bay Provincial Park and the ferry terminal there to Earls Cove. The upper most rooms were further from highway so a bit more quiet. While the carpet was dirty, the rest of the room was fairly clean. It was about the least costly of nearby motels and B&Bs.
Great view of the marina and ocean. The SeaSider is a great restaurant though not sure it's part of the hotel complex. We saw otters, whales, herons, deer and even a bear wander through the parking lot. Room was comfortable. The Serious Coffee and food store is only 5 -10 min walk away and had good options.
It’s a very old hotel, very outdated, described as beachfront but it’s all industrial infront. It is in a great location close to a few restaurants and a minute walk from townsite brewery. The staff are extremely nice and helpful. The gentlemen at the front desk was so polite, he deserves a raise!
We liked the location, half way between Powell River and Lund and off the highway. It was quiet, well treed, with a nice view of the Salish Sea and Vancouver Island. The hosts were helpful (we needed help to figure out the shower tap) without being intrusive.
Blitz Beach is a lovely little cottage right on the water. So quiet and peaceful. A wonderful place to relax and watch the seals and otters and eagles snd hummingbird.
Nicely located between Powell River and Lund. We would definitely come back
The suite was perfect! It has a very functional kitchen, extra comfy bed, and lovely shower. Grant and Marg are absolutely lovely and super helpful and accommodating! I will definitely be staying here again next time I’m in Powell River.
Very clean with an ocean view and conveniently located near the ferry stop. The owner was very helpful and proud of her little motel. I recommend this to anyone who just needs a clean room without all the frills.
Breakfast was good but hash browns a little greasy and not very warm on second morning. Eggs Benny were excellent. A quaint and delightfully different hotel stay. Staff were helpful and courteous.
