We were down for a motocross race and needed a place to sleep. The motel is a little dated BUT very clean, beds were comfortable, and the owners were very nice. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!!.

The room was nicely equipped with a microwave, larger fridge, coffee maker with tea/coffee. The room was a good size and was extremely clean. I liked the idea of the pool, sauna and hot tub but didn’t have time to use them as I was there for the Alice Munro Writers Festival and quite busy.

It is a lovely pretty town and I will go back as I didn’t have enough time to see the sights (It was cold and rainy the weekend I was there and so sight-seeing was less than idea.) Very interesting town centre (octagonal). Nearby Bayfield, a 20 minute drive, is also very pretty and deserving of a visit. Goderich was an unexpected delight - good restaurants, an excellent coffee shop (Cate's), bakeries and lots of shops. Excellent cider (East Street Cidery). The improvements the town has made following the bad tornado some years ago are really impressive, especially the mature trees in courthouse square. We had expected to spend more time in near-by Bayfield - which is a charming town - but we ended up staying in Goderich and the country-side (Benmiller). And it is true: the Lake Huron sunsets are magnificent!

We have always enjoyed our visits to Goderich. The boardwalk walks along the beach are the best and sunsets are frequently a highlight. Upon arrival at Goderich you are first struck by a typical British looking octagonal road design. The town is pleasant and the local community has it all figured out! Life seems quiet in this small but well amenitized town. There is a local market in the town octagon centre! Fresh produce and trinkets and everything in between are available at this charming fair held on weekends! Remember to bring your sun screen and your good mood because Goderich has a lot to offer everyone. A fantastic public beach awaits you! (Paying parking)

Goderich is a lovely historical town that takes you back in time a bit. It's super charming with stunning homes in the area. I love the town square, where there are weekend markets, concerts in the park, and pretty much every thing you want within walking distance. There are great restaurants, shops, bakeries, as well as the beaches and parks. It's the perfect weekend getaway spot.ChantalCanada

Everything worked well and we enjoyed our trip and the stay at Dreamz Inn. The breakfast was satisfactory; in fact better than I expected. Note that there is a nice conservation area nearby - 950 m from the Inn (toward Grand Bend). There are well-maintained trails and visiting this area is highly recommended for nature lovers..
