I have stayed here multiple times over the past year. It is nothing fancy, and kind of out of the way of anything, but it meets my needs. I just use it to stay the night before I race at Circuit De Spa, about 20 minute away.

I booked this charming place for a 3 night stay for my friend and I as we were going to see the 8 hour motorbike race at Spa as well as touring the Ardenne on our bikes. The small access road was a little difficult to see but Mr Gps was on hand to help. On riding in the driveway I was quite stunned by the pure beauty of the place. The spire rising before me instantly gave an impression of history and serenity. The garden was pristine and the sun was shining.
Chantel came out to greet us with a huge smile and after a few attempts of greetings in English, my friend and I reverted to our very rusty French which we had in school 50 odd years ago. Chantel did her upmost to make us feel welcome and gave a thorough tour of the facilities
We had ordered the surprise 3 course meal, which turned out to be 3 course plus and appetiser. Our starter was a soup which she invited us to guess what it was. I took a sniff and was taken back to my childhood when my grandmother used to make us green pea soup and was applauded by our fine host. It tasted so fresh and wonderful. Main course was a slow cooked lump of veal on the bone with a lovely sauce and extras. Dessert..Belgian chocolate pudding with cream..what else. The whole meal experience was a delight and all home cooked from local produce. When booking the room and meal, Chantel contacted me to ask if we had any preferences or allergies so if you are not to meat then I am sure she ( or more likely her husband Jean Lou ) will make something equally tasty.
Breakfast was well laid out and plentiful. You can even squeeze your own fresh orange juice and you sit in an enclosed terrace overlooking the garden. Weather permitting, I am sure that breakfast on the patio or a cold beer or glass of wine from her well stocked fridge would be very nice..we took the latter option.
The room itself, well it was a suite with bedroom and living room, was spacious and in style with the rustic charm of the whole place. A perfect place for our stay

Friendly staff and good breakfast. They will accomodate for allergies.
The dinner I had at hotel du Midi was beyond expectations.
I asked the waitress what she recommended and agreed with it. Dinner was very good.
The room was not luxury but very clean, and the bed was good. As I travel alone for business, a single bed was sufficient.
Last point, the hotel has a very attentive and pleasant staff.
The dinner, the informal ambience and the pleasant staff made me decide to book this hotel for my next visit.
