Hotel PomMarine has an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a shared lounge and terrace in Bridgetown.

Staff were very friendly, helpful & polite - particularly the cleaning ladies, security & serving staff at Breakfast, they were all lovely & helped to make for a very pleasent stay Room was clean, comfortable &, most importantly, had air-con! Had everything I needed Breakfast was good, selection of hot food, cereals, yogurts, fruit & juice - service a little muddled at times, when it got busy, but not a major issue & as mentioned the staff were always helpful & polite

Pirate's Inn, hotel in Bridgetown

Located 5 km from downtown Bridgetown and 3 minutes from Accra Beach, this 2-story inn features a large courtyard with pool and deck. Free Wi-FI is offered in all areas.

The breakfast menu catered to all my favourite dishes. Service was quick and affordable. Despite a public food court within proximity and offering a vast selection of dishes, Pirate's Inn restaurant was secondary to none.

    Bridgetown, Barbados.

Bridgetown, Barbados. Its excellent reputation did not disappoint. The renowned Bajan, (Barbadian) hospitality was always displayed when inquiring about unfamiliar subjects. Bajans seem eager to help with directions to places of interest, restaurants, or knowing the history of Barbados. Some of my favourite places I visited included the Animal Flower Cave, The Barbados Museum and Sam Lord's Castle. Beaches include Carlisle's Beach, Pebbles Beach and Haywood Beach in Speightstown. Oistin's Fish Market and other places such as restaurants that serve local dishes, must be on your list of places to eat. Do not be afraid to take local public transportation; the authorized fare is $3.50 (bds) irrespective of distance. While on the beach, avoid the poisonous manchineel trees. They are painted in red around their trunks to point out the danger.

Lanterns mall was decent with a variety of stores but most were closed. I had delivered from seven oh 11, not very good, food was extremely spicy. I would reccommend maybe staying in a different location from worthing, Christ Church.

We were really disappointed to see that the Waterfront was all boarded up and were informed that there was a regeneration plan for this area. We hope that it will be done for when we return. It gets very hot in town so a quick dash to shops and then back to the beach. Could do with some more fun shops and not just duty free stores. Also some nice restaurants would be beneficial.

Ate in a gorgeous beachfront restaurant about 10 min walk from resort. Easy to get around on foot. Town centre is very small. Not much to see historically. Parliament building wasn't sign posted. Beaches were nice.

Good hotel charging a reasonable price. The staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful. Good location. Short walk from many amenities. The room had everything required. It was sizeable and very comfortable. It was a shame the restaurant and bar were closed for refurbishment.

I am not sure if we got the same room we booked.

I am not sure if we got the same room we booked. There were rooms with balcony but we were given one without a balcony. My husband said he visited there before and it was a much better place. We were told that the place had new owners, so that could be the difference. We did enjoy having breakfast close to the beach which was the highlight of our visit. The water at the beach was a little rough during our stay, but it was a pretty site to watch the boats go out on the water. It was easy to get around. I did go to the market place where I purchased some fruits, bread and souvenirs, but I don't think we would return there anytime soon.

I would highly recommend this hotel as an excellent choice for transit travelers seeking beachfront accommodations. The hotel boasts a stunningly beautiful beach and spacious rooms that are both simple in design and impeccably clean. Additionally, its prime location across from several restaurants, a pharmacy, and a wine store adds to its appeal. The staff at this hotel is known for their exceptional friendliness and hospitality. Lastly, the hotel's beach offers a magnificent setting to witness breathtaking sunsets.

The apt was top notch - well kitted out. The best thing about this location is the proximity to Worthing beach in fact its on private part of Worthing beach. It was a short bus ride to Oistins for food and indeed there is an AMAZING food court behind the Esso station. The supermarket was fascinating. It was an equally short bus trip to Bridgetown and its on the bus route too and from the Airport. If you like a good time the Devahachan Bar does great nightlive, including Kareoke

Although this hotel is pricey for what you get its better than doing self catering because Barbados is expensive. The cocktails are great, service good, food is as you'd expect from all inclusive but in general good and plenty of it. The resort is small and in a private bay and very few kids which is what we liked. Special mention to Tyrese who is a great young guy and an asset to the hotel.

The beach is BEAUTIFUL and only a few yards from the rooms. The hotel is easy to find and only about twenty minutes from the airport. The staff is super helpful and nice. Jah was really friendly and helped us learn a lot about the island. The restaurant is right on the beach so you can have food and drinks under the tent or brought to your beach chair!

Small family run hotel located on a lovely beach, ideally located for walking/bus into Bridgetown or along the south coast. Rooms large with great ocean views from large sunny balconies, comfy beds and useful well equipped kitchenettes. Pool and restaurants lovely. Staff all very helpful. The location is ideal and right in the heart of downtown Bridgetown. Everything is within walking distance including a supermarket, clothing stores, and a restaurant right in front. The host was very nice and welcomed me upon my arrival. The A/C worked really well and the building was quiet. My stay was for 3 days from 5-8 Aug.

Silvester, the host, was very accommodating and could not do enough for you. The property is close enough to Bridgetown to walk to but is also not far from a bus stop if you prefer not to walk! There were a couple of shops (including a bakery and supermarket) near to the property.
