Linen was clean and bed was comfortable. It was a quiet place and check in was effortless. It’s a nice 20 min walk to the main strip and we should’ve stayed longer to explore more the area around us.

I've lived in Sydney for 30 years and never stayed in the Robertson/Mittagong/Moss Vale area. It is almost as picturesque as the Blue Mountains and we found the quality of properties, shops, eateries and attractions as good, if not better than the Blue Mountains. In particular, the food was excellent in the Robertson Thai restaurant and the Public House. The roads are mostly in great condition and the taffic is light - the roads are very enjoyable to drive with many views and sweeping bends.

The staff are very friendly.
The staff are very friendly. When booking the accommodation, you have to realise it is very old. I thought they would have maintained it and rooms would have some mod cons. We stayed in a queen room with shared bathroom and the room didn't have air conditioning or fans. Just heating. Kept the window open all night. Had fireplaces downstairs near the bar and sitting room. Shops only a kilometre away. The grounds were nice. We sat in the car at the back of the building near the pool overlooking the escarpment. Tea making facilities on each level. No lifts, just stairs. We were on level 2. The gutters were dripping through the night (we had our window open-otherwise very musty in the room). The room had a sink in the corner, a hanging rack and a chair. No luggage suitcase rack - so lot of bending down to get items out of the suitcase. Bathroom very old but clean - hasn't been maintained. A bit smelly - need lots of air freshners. Morning was cold. Unfortunately this is not our kind of accommodation so we won't be staying here again.

The place is old but unique.
The place is old but unique. The high ceilings, the open fireplaces, the deep lounges, the books on the shelves, the drinks on the lawn. The nearby town of Roberston is small but distinctive, with a foodie/antique/art vibe.

Robertson is an excellent place to visit, especially for its food options -- Moonacres cafe, Pecaro cheese and wine bar and Mumma's Country Kitchen. We also went to Grace Native Nursery and bought some plants from the friendly owner.

Cooler country so a warm comfy room.
Cooler country so a warm comfy room.
Liked the 70's-style motel that reminded me of growing up as a kid in that era.
Basic amenities yet all that one needs.
Had good shampoo and conditioner.
Comfortable bed and luggage stand.
I've paid twice as much and not got those two things.
Easy key access and contact via messages if needed.
Bowling club next door and Thai restaurant out the front.
Some paper plates would be useful.
And bit more character around 70 's would make this motel more tempting.

Robertson is an absolutely gorgeous town, offering lots of local activities to do, such as bush walks & waterfalls to explore, amazing local produce at the various restaurants & cafes and a stone through to Bowral & Moss Vale, we can’t wait to get back!
Peaceful, Quiet, Beautiful garden and surroundings, privacy, great big breakfast, diningroom table beautifully set out with white hydrangeas!Sue and Tony unobtrusiveness yet attentive and kind, bathroom with the Green Room is beautiful, yummy biscuits with tea and coffee bags to welcome me in the room, breakfast room has a bar fridge to store things if needed, venue is close to Bowral, Shellharbour and Kiama. Robertson is a lovely town to visit!
The aircon placement in room was great, towel warming rack in bathroom,
Beautiful home from home for a country escape. The converted church studio had everything you could want, super comfortable bed linen, art and inspiring interiors. We enjoyed our time in the property as much as out of it. The location was perfect for Robertson and excellent pizzas were available across the road if you wanted to stay in. The country with creature comforts.
It's a few kms out of Robertson down a gravel track. The upstairs living and sleeping area is cosy with low ceilings. AC kept the temperature comfortable. Nice carpeting upstairs. Very quiet location. Great for a quiet getwaway for one or two couples. The dogs were friendly. Bruce (the owner) helped solve a couple of problems very promptly - much appreciated.
Lilyview Cottage is set on a beautiful property only a short drive from the main street of Robertson. It is incredibly peaceful and the cottage itself was perfect for accommodating family and partners, with kitchen facilities and a long dining table for communal dining. Can't recommend this place for a peaceful getaway in the Southern Highlands more!
The hotel is tiny. Only four rooms are available in an old building. The rooms share two bathrooms, which is sufficient. We arrived by a EV and the management let us to plug the vehicle for charge overnight.
Robertson Public House was a pit stop on a road trip. It was clean and bed was so comfortable. The pub downstairs had your classic menu and live music which finished at a decent time.
