We were in Finn’s 3 - the bed was huge and very comfortable. Kettle toaster microwave and coffee machine was all we needed for our 2 night stay. Lots of room for our fur baby inside and great location with short walk to shops and beach. We had dinner at the old bar tavern which is dog friendly outside. The pool area looked beautiful but the weather wasn’t quite warm enough for us to swim. Lots of parking. Would certainly love to stay again

The apartment was well maintained, clean and neat. It had a functional kitchen and a bathroom that was both an ensuite and main bathroom. There was a separate garage and the beach was right at the end of the property!
The pool and spa were used by the kids, even in the rain. The bbq and entertainment area were great because we had friends staying at there too.

We went for the Old Bar Beach Festival during the October long weekend. Very well run with lots to do/see for everyone: Kombis(!), markets, live music, food vans, kids' entertainment and rides area. The beaches are great and we particularly enjoyed Saltwater National Park just a few kilometres to the south. Old Bar would be great to visit at other times as well. Great area for family holidays.

We didn't stay long in Old Bar during the day as we had plans in Taree, but found staying at Old Bar with the short trip to Taree far better than staying in Taree, and if we have to go again would stay at Old Bar.

Small but quaint surf town. Would spend longer next time.
Small but quaint surf town. Would spend longer next time. Tried to have dinner as walk-ins to the Flow Bar but it was all booked out so we ended up eating at the the Old Bar Village Cafe and had a wonderful meal with the very friendly proprietor.

Close bottle shop with friendly service. Great cafes everywhere and some unique shops for gift buying. Great town centre a short drive away and the beaches were beautiful. Very clean and tidy town
The club next door is very busy and service is good. Town folk are friendly and the hotel provide you with a membership card for a discount at the club! Great meals and the cocktails were great!

If you are looking for another Byron Bay, forget it.
If you are looking for another Byron Bay, forget it. It is an almost unspoilt coastal village with a long beach, surf, bush and at least one really terrific restaurant (Sai Thai). Lovely people and some interesting little nooks and crannies ... a berry farm where you can buy berries when in season, and a day spa. Helpful locals and the basic servies (medical centre, pharmacy, bottle shop, pub and (uh-oh!) a Coles supermarket that is, however, not too flashy but has everything you need. Not far off the M1 up the coast and worth staying a night or three. A lovely alternative to Taree.

Old Bar seems like a nice coastal town with a lovely big beach. Not a big shopping centre but we had a very nice breakfast at a local cafe near the news agency.
The only drawback was the state of the road into town & most of the local streets. The potholes are diabolical! It would make me think twice about calling in for another visit until the council does something about them. I don't know how the locals put up with such poor streets & main Rd. The beach car park was equally as bad.

The property is private, in the middle of nowhere (State Forest), so no traffic noise, or people in the area that shouldn’t be there, it’s in between Taree and Old Bar which is suitable for people that are looking for inland lake, or the beach.
The host Vicki was fantastic very accommodating, as well as very helpful and caring.
The cottage I choose was great for a solo, couple, family traveller/s, awesome place for a girls weekend away.
Located in a peaceful location amongst lovely gardens. The cottage was clean and comfortable and felt like home, with lots of thoughtful touches and every comfort provided. The breakfast hamper was delicious, especially the muesli. Great location a short drive to Taree or Old Bar. The hosts were very helpful and check in and out easy and simple.
Really good motel, more like a hotel. Friendly staff, clean rooms and plenty to do next door at the Old Bar Hotel. 2 minute drive from the beach. Would definitely stay here again
The location was beautiful, tranquil, peaceful. Very comfortable accommodation. Great little walks around the property. Close to Old Bar to go and have lunch, dinner.
Great vibe. Staff were accommodating and friendly. Sy was super helpful. Food was incredible. Wait was worth it. Old Bar is a great place. 100% recommend to everyone
very clean and comfortable with a decent size room and more than adequate facilities. Definitely more like a Hotel than a Motel. It even has a small gym!
