Nagambie is a quiet, relaxed little town.
Loved the motel we stayed in. Loved the Brewery. Loved the Bakery.
If you feel like relaxing and doing nothing ( but having so much to do)
you need to stay at Nagambie.
You won't want to leave and you'll be back if you do.

What a little gem of a town.
What a little gem of a town. Wineries, beautiful lake, Brewery, rowing club, lovely people and close to the Goulburn river and the amazing Goulburn Weir. Incredible 1800's engineering. It really is worth a visit. The Lakeside Motel is the pick unless you want to go 5 star and stay at the Mitchellton winery nearby. Dont miss Avenel either. Only 10 minutes away and Harvest Home (the old pub renovated) is definitely a don't miss !! They also have accommodation and an amazing restaurant.
Very spacious and clean rooms, more of a hotel than motel quality. Easy parking with plenty of space between cars. Great beds and top quality bathroom. The best part is a small kitchenette, so I could make my own dinner (very handy on a Monday night when most of Nagambie is closed!) It also had a spacious outdoor area with a barbecue. It's also right next to a petrol station, so handy on the commute, and walkable or a very short drive into town.
Located near the centre of town, walking distance to all shops, facilities and Lake Nagambie. The room is large with a small dining room table for two, kitchen facilities for those who would like to eat in, there is even access to a small courtyard to enjoy a glass of wine. The bathroom is modern and roomy with a large walk-in wardrobe. Overall I found Nagambie Motor Inn perfect for my stay.
Accepted a cheap off season mid week offer and with not many here enjoyed the peace and serenity with a pleasant view of the water.
It provided a great tennis court , nice pool ( too cold to swim ) and cafe opened Thursday served a top coffee and muffins. Our cabin was so clean.
Never been to Nagambie before and hope to return ( walk the boardwalk next time)
Very clean, modern ,fresh room, very comfortable bed, close location to town, Chrystal clear pool with gorgeous landscaping, magnificent views from our rooms of nagambie lake and landscape, also the incredibly stress free, smooth welcome after a long journey was fabulous! Highly recommend.
The location of Lakeside Luxury was amazing and the facilities were wonderful. The apartment was modern and clean, and in close walking distance to shops and restaurants. I was visiting Nagambie for a rowing regatta and there was a great view of the start line from the pool area.
A great overnight stay at a hotel with great attention to detail. Location on the banks of the Goulburn River was beautiful and helped you feel immersed in a very special environment. A longer stay and we would have made use of the ebikes for further adventuring.
The hotel is located in the lovely Victorian countryside near the river. There was a calm atmosphere which we enjoyed, but I suppose this would not always be the case as I realize that it is a popular wedding venue.
Laura from reception was awesome from day one. She was extremely friendly, hospitable, and provided exceptional experience for my partner and I. She is definitely an asset to The Mitchelton Hotel,
We loved this luxury property, perfect place to relax by the lake. Beautiful swimming pool area, great location close to shops cafe and supermarket.
nothing not to like, we’ll return
Great location, beautiful views, facilities and amenities are spot on, 30 min brisk walk into nagambie township via a lakeside boardwalk - just gorgeous!
