Rosslyn Bay Resort Yeppoon, hotel in Great Keppel

Overlooking the beautiful and secluded Kemp Beach, Rosslyn Bay Resort Yeppoon offers self-contained accommodation on the doorstep of Great Keppel Island.

It felt like home having nice warm blankets, fridge was stocked in case we needed anything from the mini bar and snacks. Even an air fryer. I was so pleasantly surprised as it was a budget room but it’s one of the nicest rooms I’ve stayed in lately and great value for money. I’ll be back!

We loved our stay and only small fixable things that could be suggested.... cleaning of toilet and cleaning of cobwebs etc. Other than that it was just gorgeous. Restaurant was amazing. Singer at night was bloody awesome! What a voice. Food reasonably priced and so delicious! Loved happy hour! We will be back!

The coffee at the Hideaway Bar & Bistro is worth the trip over. I was expecting mediocre coffee at best seeing as they have no competition, but the coffee is amazing. The water is safe, clear, clean and shallow. The sand is white and clean. You can float for hours on water you can stand up in. My recommendation is Putney Beach as there are minimal boats moored and lots of space. There is a bar at the top of the beach too so you don't have to stumble far for refreshments.

Great Keppel is a beautiful island retreat for time out from a busy world, no Wi-Fi, which is exactly what we needed, just a cold beer, great views and a good book. Would recommend for wanting time out and to enjoy some of the most spectacular views, sunsets and scenery. Food at the hideaway was excellent. Room we stayed in was a garden view room, very basic but had a fridge, air con and was very clean, you don.t need much else when staying on an island. Ten out of ten from us and will return

Pick uo from ferry, introduction to facility adequate. Informed where to eat out, where to visit. Many beaches worth visiting. Best: Fisherman and Shelving. Monkey beach hard to get to. Good diving but water lice. Lots to see. Good restaurant near-by. Equipment hire.

Beautiful, peaceful, relaxing, friendly, plenty to do or not do. We were glamping at Keppel holiday village, took our own food and used their well equipped camp kitchen, we walked the long beach track and the veiws and beaches were beautiful.

It is a beautiful island with lots of different beaches.

It is a beautiful island with lots of different beaches. If you’re happy to walk a little way you can escape other people. No surf, so perfect swimming for little kids, SUPs, canoes and other water sports. No sealed roads, and only service vehicles. So a real escape from the rat race.
