Nice room for reasonable price They have beautiful garden and even an outdoor swimming pool for a sumer time . We arrived later in the evening, hosts told us a lot abut the location, their establishment and culture. In the morning we had a great breakfast and they explained us a lot about their cultural events. They can teach you armenian dance, armenian hospitality traditions and music. A lot of workshops available on sight

The room had a small sofa and coffee table which was useful. But the double bed was almost against the walls on both sides.
The top bed sheet barely covered the mattress; nothing to tuck under the mattress so impossible to keep it in place during the night.
The site offers "breakfast available by request", but our request was denied.
The owner provided a very affordable trip to a nearby site, and stopped extra times to show us other points of interest. Very gracious.
Absence of signage made it very hard to find the resort.

We had a fantastic time staying in Karbi, and wish we could have spent longer there. Zhanna's house is absolutely beautiful, with amazing home made decorations and beautiful Armenian carpets everywhere. We had the entire top floor of the house to ourselves as there were no other guests during our stay. There is a delightful balcony with views looking out over Mt. Ararat.
Zhanna and her husband were incredibly kind and hospitable: the breakfast and dinner that they provided were superb. They are a lovely couple too. We wish we had more time to get to know them.
The garden at their house is lovely, with large fruit trees providing cherries, mulberries etc that we were encouraged to eat lots of.
Overall, a lovely stay. We just wish we'd planned ahead more so that we could have stayed for longer. If we return to Armenia we would seriously consider hiring a car and basing ourselves here for e.g. a week.
