Truly unique and peaceful location. We particularly enjoyed having delicious breakfast and dinner with views on Philae Temple. The hotels fits beautifully with the scenery and rooms are very comfortable. All staff are very friendly and forthcoming. We were even able to go for a swim in the Nile as the hotel has a small beach. This place was truly one of the highlights of our vacation in Egypt and we highly recommend it.

Aswan
Aga Khan Mausoleum is 24 km from Hamo Guest House, while Nubian Museum is 1.3 km away. The nearest airport is Aswan International, 17 km from the accommodation, and the property offers a paid airport shuttle service. the location is excellent. The breakfast is very good and The room was clean
Big room and upgraded to a Cataracts view which was very nice. Easy to come and go with the shuttle. Most of the staff very friendly and try to help (guest relations manager on the other a bit too pushy).
The location in the village is lovely and calm, pretty views and nice surroundings, can easily walk to the souk in a minute The meals I had there were very good, so much variety. Beautiful hotel, the chalet I stayed in was cute and colourful in keeping with the colourful houses of the village. I was upgraded on arrival which was very kind of them. The staff really make this place! I was a solo female traveller and they really looked after me, all knew me by name and they honestly couldn’t do enough for you.
Very nice and Cosy place to stay, with the small garden and the terrace for breakfast. In the island you're in a more quiet place with enough restaurants for you stay around there at night. (and if you decide not to, the shuttle boat is easy and cheap). The room was really comfortable and the staff very friendly and happy to help and organize trips for you at a fair price. Can only recommend staying there!
We were given two large brand new rooms for our family of four. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable, and the view over the water was fantastic. It was easy to arrive to the hotel using the free shuttle bus from the Abu Simbel airport (we got dropped off at the hotel's doorstep), and returning by the hotel's arranged tuktuk was equally straightforward. The hotel is within easy walking distance of good restaurants and they also have a restaurant onsite. The young man who seemed to be in charge of everything was wonderful.
The pool is nice, the grounds are pretty. The view is pretty. Free shuttle from airport (but not back to the airport)
Location. Free Egyptair shuttle bus. View and pool. A 1km / 15 min walk to the abu simbel temple. 160m from the hotel to a junction, turn right and its at the end of the road.
The guest relation manager was fantastic. She let us check in early to our rooms and organised a sunset boat tour for 5 USD which included nibbles and a hot tea. She also had a professional manner and available on what’s app for any concerns. Breakfast and the restaurants were fantastic. And the pool was great with a gorgeous view. The shuttle arranged through the hotel was very convenient for us due to being 40 minutes away from the airport.
Clean, location for relaxation, accessible to city, courteous staff, especially Christine (Guest relation) and house keeping (Hamdi). the boat shuttle is frequent and enjoyable
The location is perfect, right in between the Abu Simbel temples and the village (where restaurants and corner stores are), each 8-10 min walk away. We enjoyed the breakfast a lot. Very tasty! The reception staff was nice and helped us hop on the free EgyptAir shuttle last minute. They checked us in early, which was HIGHLY appreciated! This is a great hotel with good value for money for a short stay. I would stay there again!
the building itself is beautiful and so are its surroundings and the view. it’s actually based on Isis Island and there is a free shuttle ferry that takes you to and from. the staff on the boat are lovely and aren’t in your face asking for money. the pools are nice but unfortunately the good ends here
