Alberto (the host) was super kind from the beginning till the end. The place was super relaxing and the breakfast Alberto served was delicious. Alberto even exchanged us US dollars to colones at a very good rate (the best we found). Definitely recommend this place. You'll enjoy it.

The lodges are amazing, very spacious and cozy. The bed was very comfortable and they keep everything nice and clean for you. But we loved the deck the most. Just to sit there and be surrounded by nature is all you need. The hosts Werner and Zindi are the kindest and their kids are adorable. They make you feel really welcome. We also really enjoyed the pool, the breakfast is a must try and we loved how safe it all felt. Like a small and friendly community. If you want to visit Cahuita, this is the place you want to stay!
