Firstly the location, only 20mins from Palomino, but you feel like your world's away. A truly beautiful part of the earth, serine, tranquil and one of the most beautiful views I've had the pleasure of seeing in Colombia and beyond. All enjoyed with the comfort of some beautifully designed cabanas. Secondly, the two wonderful lady's who welcome you warmly, and continue that throughout your stay. They provide a great calm, relaxed, atmosphere that only adds to the location. The food in a delight, healthy, fresh. Great communal area with well stocked kitchen and a pool...... I could go on...... Highly recommend!!!!

The rustic and functional rooms and dormitories feature full bathrooms that come with a shower and also include the towels and linen. El Remanso was my home. I found here everything I wanted :D (even what I couldn't want) At first I was just looking for a place to be, but I found something more. El Remanso has everything you could want in a place that is in the middle of nowhere. It is the place where you will have a feeling that you are the end of the world and it is only for you. There is a beach and excellent cuisine as well as opportunities for interesting walks .... these beaches and lagoons are worth exploring
