Awesome each pod having own outdoor facilities -bbq, fire pit, picnic table. Perfect spot to explore the Lake District. Walking, cute villages, pubs. Pod is well set up and great use of space. Perfect for family of 3-would love to stay longer.

Everything was perfect was nice to be greeted and shown round by Phillipa given the keys and contact number if any problems talked about the local area where I discovered 2 old quarrys to walk the dogs and felt like home from home.

BlackJak Retreat is located in Grange Over Sands and offers a garden and a bar. Both free WiFi and parking on-site are accessible at the campground free of charge. The property is non-smoking and is situated 28 km from World of Beatrix Potter. The caravan site is situated in a quiet area. The owner was friendly and very helpful when I had a little issue with finding the right pin code for the keybox. Recommend to everyone!

Everything you needed including towels tea towels etc Host thought of everything with some treats left - and some for our grandchildren - not expected but appreciated and a lovely touch- correspondence with owner second to none- he really wanted to make sure we had a great time

Great price and would definitely return if given the chance. The owners gave great instructions and were only happy to help with any questions we had.
